BEAP to SWEAP
In 1999, the Baccalaureate Education Assessment Package (BEAP) was developed to address growing concerns in BSW education for tracking students from entrance into the social work program to two years after graduation. In 2013, BEAP reorganized and became the Social Work Education Assessment Project (SWEAP).
For more information about SWEAP, check out: What is SWEAP?
The current SWEAP package consists of six instruments appropriate for assessment of undergraduate and graduate social work programs:
When submitting completed paper instruments, please complete the online SWEAP DATA Summary Report for your program, and submit it electronically. Then, send hard copies of all original scannable forms to our processing group at the University of Utah (see our address on the lower right of the screen).
Electronic online instruments are submitted instantaneously as respondents complete them. Click here for more information on using online instruments (eTickets).
